Rafting on the Tara River is one of Montenegro's most iconic experiences. Known as the "Tear of Europe" for its pristine, crystal-clear water, the Tara flows through the deepest river canyon on the continent — reaching depths of over 1,300 metres. The rapids range from Class 3 to Class 5, ensuring an adrenaline rush at every turn.
Our rafting tours take you through the heart of Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where unspoiled forests, hidden waterfalls and sheer limestone cliffs frame the river at every bend. We also offer the shorter but equally thrilling Brštanovica–Šćepan Polje route, known for its intense Class 4–5 rapids.
Both tours are fully guided and include all equipment. The Tara full-day tour includes breakfast and lunch, making it a complete wilderness adventure from start to finish.
