FEEL THE RAPIDS OF THE TEAR OF EUROPE
This is a full-day rafting expedition through the Tara Canyon — Europe's deepest river gorge at over 1,300 metres — within Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Tara River is often called the "Tear of Europe" for the extraordinary clarity of its water; it remains one of the cleanest rivers on the continent.
The tour begins in the heart of the park and follows the river from Montenegro into the Nature Park of Piva in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Along the way you'll navigate Class 3, 4 and 5 rapids, swim in natural pools beneath waterfalls, explore a hidden cave with an underground lake, and enjoy some of the most dramatic canyon scenery in Europe.
Breakfast and lunch are included, and the full day on the water ensures you experience the river in its entirety — not just a brief taste. Minimum age is 3 and the route is accessible for most levels of fitness.
