VIA FERRATA SLANO LAKE

Via Ferrata Orlina is positioned beside the magical Slano Lake just outside Nikšić, making it one of the most scenically beautiful via ferrata routes in the Balkans. The route leads through fascinating cliff faces and along exposed ridges from which the turquoise waters of the lake are visible throughout the ascent.

This is an ideal first via ferrata experience — shorter (approximately 1 hour) and more accessible than the Piva route, but still a genuine adventure with real exposure and genuine views. Our guides introduce you to the rich flora, fauna and unique geological features of the area as well as the history and traditions of the Slano Lake region.

Full equipment is provided. The route is appropriate for participants from age 12 who are in good health, with no prior climbing experience required.
