VIA FERRATA PIVA

Via Ferrata Piva is one of the most exciting protected climbing routes in Montenegro. Installed along the dramatic walls of the Piva Canyon, the route uses steel cables, metal rungs, ladders and suspension bridges to guide you across exposed sections of rock that would otherwise require advanced technical climbing skills.

The views from the route are extraordinary. As you climb, the Piva Canyon opens below and around you — a deep gorge carved from pale limestone, flanked by dense forest and mountain peaks. Our guides pause at strategic viewpoints for photography and share the fascinating natural history, geology and cultural stories of this remarkable place.

The route takes approximately 2 hours and is suitable for participants with a reasonable head for heights. No prior climbing experience is necessary — full equipment is provided and the via ferrata set ensures you remain connected to the safety cable throughout.
