BOULDERING IN MONTENEGRO
Bouldering is the climbing of lower rocks — typically up to 5 or 6 metres — without the use of ropes or harnesses. The focus is on solving short, powerful sequences of movement: every problem is a unique physical and mental puzzle, and finding the right solution gives a deep sense of satisfaction.
In Montenegro, bouldering takes place against a backdrop of truly spectacular scenery. The rock formations in and around the Durmitor and Prokletije massifs provide a huge variety of holds and angles — from smooth slabs to overhanging limestone pockets — catering to every level from first-timers to advanced climbers.
Crash pads are provided, and our instructor-guides make safety and technique accessible regardless of experience. Bouldering is a great activity for groups of friends, families with older children, or anyone who wants to try climbing without committing to a full roped session.
